Sponges are filled with delicious buttercream or chocolate ganache available in a variety of flavours. Cakes can be covered with professional grade quality fondant icing, chocolate or buttercream (design will vary). Please scroll down for the full list of flavours available.
Fruit cakes are made with dried fruit and nuts blended with sherry and covered with marzipan and fondant icing.
Special Allergy Requirements
I can make cakes without using gluten, dairy, nuts or eggs in freshly cleaned equipment but those and other ingredients are used in my kitchen on a daily basis and I cannot guarantee 100% allergens free. The kitchen is also used for family day to day meal preparation. By law I am required to advise that cakes may contain traces of Soya, Dairy, Gluten, Eggs, Nuts, Peanuts but also Lupin, Mustard, Sesame, Celery, Fish, Crustaceans, Molluscs. Please ask for more details.
I offer no obligation wedding consultations where you can try up to 6 cake samples (Vanilla, Victoria, Lemon, Red Velvet, Chocolate and Carrot cake) and discuss your cake ideas.
Consults can take up to an hour. I use my own time and money (to make samples, tea, coffee etc) without charging like most cake decorators so please respect that and only book if you are considering ordering a cake.
Celebration cakes above £150 you can to try up to 3 flavours free of charge to help you choose.
Cakes over £100 you can try one flavour for free.
For cake designs below £100 or cupcakes a purchase of samples is available. Please ask for more details.

Subtle. Classic vanilla genoese sponge.

Rich coffee flavour cake with a little nutty crunch. Made with real coffee and walnuts.
- Victoria Sponge
Our best seller. Vanilla sponge filled with cream flavoured buttercream and raspberry jam. Most who tried Vanilla too ordered Victoria.
This spiced classic is packed with carrots, walnuts and raisins with a hint of lemon in the cream cheese flavoured buttercream.
Indulgent. Rich. Chocolatey. Made with cocoa and real chocolate buttercream.
Bursting with lemon flavour our lemon cakes are made with juice of lemons and a lemon buttercream.
- Fruit Cake
Rich classic made with soaked dried fruit, nuts and sherry. Must be ordered well in advance to give it time to mature.
- Red velvet
The most romantic cake out there. The sweet marriage of cocoa and vanilla in a red sponge, filled with cream cheese flavoured buttercream. These ingredients give the cake a subtle, yet distinctive and delicious flavour that is not quite chocolate and not quite plain vanilla.
- Healthy Cake
Carrot and parsnip (yes! it is actually yummy!) cake with raisins and chia seeds full of omega 3. It has reduced sugar which is replaced with honey and stevia to keep the sweetness. It can also be filled with whipped cream substitute, MacTop rather then buttercream. It is a rich, sweet confectionery filling that has a creamy subtle taste, less fat and less sugar then ordinary buttercream.
